Vulnerable Adults Living at Risk Invisibly (VALARI)

VALARI is a multi disciplinary elder and disabled adult abuse team that includes state and local agencies from diverse disciplines who come together to provide  comprehensive assessment and consultation in cases of neglect, abuse, and exploitation committed against elders and disabled adults.  VALARI is the first MDT in the state of Georgia that handles both elder and disabled adult abuse.

Project Perfect Attendance

Project Perfect Attendance is the Solicitor-General’s effort to combat educational neglect.  The initiative seeks to raise awareness, provide early intervention, resources and counseling, and enforce the educational neglect law.

Domestic Violence Pre-Trial Intervention Initiative (DV PTI)

The DV PTI gives select defendants of domestic violence the opportunity to learn alternatives to violence.  The initiative strengthens families by allowing defendants, through counseling and training, to learn how to stop the cycle of domestic violence.

Jobs Not Jail

Jobs Not Jail gives first-time offenders, between the ages of 17 and 24, a second chance.  Through the program, defendants complete counseling, education, job training and community service, and have the opportunity to see their criminal case expunged.
